QuoraBot Terms and Conditions

Welcome to QuoraBot ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the QuoraBot website (www.quorabot.com) and our AI-powered services, including but not limited to the /guru, /vision, and /shark verticals (collectively, the "Services").

Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access or use the Services.

1. Definitions

  • "Content" refers to text, images, code, videos, and other materials generated, inputted, or outputted through the Services.

  • "User," "You," "Your" refers to the individual or entity accessing or using the Services.

  • "User Account" refers to the unique account created for you to access our Services.

  • "Subscription" refers to the paid access plan to our Services.

2. User Accounts and Registration

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use our Services. Users under 18 may only use the Services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

  • Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.

  • Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse the QuoraBot Services. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Illegal & Harmful Activities: Using the Services for any unlawful purpose or to promote illegal activities, generate harmful, abusive, or fraudulent content.

  • Academic Dishonesty: Using the /guru or /vision services to engage in academic dishonesty, such as submitting AI-generated work as your own in violation of your institution's policies.

  • Plagiarism & Infringement: Generating content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights of any third party.

  • Security Violations: Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network or to breach any security or authentication measures.

  • Reverse Engineering: Deciphering, decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering any of the software used to provide the Services.

  • Automated Use: Using any automated system (e.g., "bots," "spiders") to access the Services in a manner that sends more request messages than a human could reasonably produce.

  • Commercial Resale: Reselling, sublicensing, or otherwise commercializing the Services without our express written consent.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Our IP: The QuoraBot platform, its original content, features, functionality, logos, and trademarks are and will remain the exclusive property of QuoraBot and its licensors. Our Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

  • Your Input: You retain all ownership rights to the text, data, and files you input into the Services ("Your Input").

  • AI-Generated Output: Subject to your compliance with these Terms and your payment of all applicable fees, QuoraBot assigns to you all its right, title, and interest in and to the text output generated and returned to you based on Your Input ("Output"). You are responsible for ensuring the Output is appropriate, accurate, and does not infringe on any third-party rights.

5. Subscription, Fees, and Payment

  • Fees: You agree to pay all applicable fees for your Subscription as described on our website. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our Refund Policy.

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your Subscription at any time, but you will not receive a refund for any already-paid period. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing cycle.

  • Taxes: All fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which you are responsible for paying.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. QUORABOT EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

QUORABOT DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR USEFULNESS OF THE OUTPUT. THE OUTPUT SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS PROFESSIONAL ADVICE (LEGAL, MEDICAL, FINANCIAL, ETC.).

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL QUORABOT, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
(I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES;
(II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES;
(III) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICES; AND
(IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO QUORABOT IN THE LAST SIX (6) MONTHS.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless QuoraBot and its licensors from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

  • Your use of and access to the Services.

  • Your violation of any term of these Terms.

  • Your violation of any third-party right, including any copyright, property, or privacy right.

  • Any claim that Your Input or use of the Output caused damage to a third party.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India/Haryana, India, State of Haryana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Karnal, Haryana, India.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
